This is my first season utilizing Lawn Doctor to service my property, and I’ve had a relatively good overall experience thus far. Their lawn care service has been reliable and effective, and my yard is definitely looking better since starting with them. I especially want to recognize Jeffrey Harmon, the technician who services my property regularly. His professionalism and extensive knowledge are truly impressive. He takes the time to explain what’s being done and why, answers all of my questions thoroughly, and communicates clearly about the treatments and what to expect. It’s clear he cares about doing the job right, and that kind of attention makes a big difference. I highly recommend Lawn Doctor - and if you get Jeffrey, you’re in great hands. ~ Lorenzo M

Richard Lukesh here with many positive comments concerning Lawn Doctor. What characteristics define a competent company? Not only the products employed, but also the service people who actually deliver the service. To wit, I very much enjoy listening to the men completing the work as they explain what they are doing and the rationale for the applications. They are succinct and quite knowledgeable with their answers as well as very proud of their efforts. I, too, am extremely proud of their diligence. Another kudo goes to Connie in the man office; she, too, was most knowledgeable and very, very convincing in her soft gentle manner--an excellent resource. As a retired School Principal, Lawn Doctor receives a Report Grade of A+ and is enrolled in the Honor Society. ~ Christine L

The lawn Doctor representative was picked up on a email ad. After many years of neglect by my inexperience, my beautiful plants and bushes faded to an almost total loss. When the Lawn Doctor rep described the service that he would recommend to recover the entire property, I thought I would "give it a try". It didn't take long to see the results to all of our plants and bushes to go with the agent's detailed care suggestions for me to see a total recovery and return to almost new landscape. It's one of the events in our lives that a simple response to an e-mail ad that changed our property's landscape appearance. The recommendations for my own responsibilities has paid off. ~ Edward G

I went back to Lawn doctor this year because they were willing to work with me on a more streamlined program that I could afford. Tim Donaldson & Sam Barefield always called ahead and met with me personally to assess what was needed & what could be eliminated. I also want to mention Marco Roman, who recommended a treatment specific to the bacteria infecting a large silver maple that begins dropping leaves in July. A competitor treated that tree years ago, then said it was beyond saving, but would continue to grow leaves every spring. Since Marco's suggestion was made in October I might look into followimg his advice next season. Also, my gardenias bloomed twice this year, so very pleased. ~ Pamela G

Our lawn was a mess when we first contracted with Lawn Doctor of Savannah in August of 2019 with severe turf damage from moles. Also, our regular lawn maintenance contractor in Bluffton was not licensed to apply pest control insecticide or fertilizers. By mid-summer of 2020 we had the nicest looking lawn on the block thanks to Lawn Doctor. I wouldn't have thought it possible. I am extremely pleased with Lawn Doctor of Savannah/Beaufort County, both in terms of the quality of results and the ease of working with the company. I just recently started using The Lawn Doctor after another company that I was using previously did not meet my expectations. Thus far, I have been very pleased with the results I have seen in my yard. After two treatments, I have seen a huge improvement. Jeffrey Harmon, the technician, is very knowledgeable and helpful. When you have been a customer since about 1991 that in itself should tell everybody something. Anytime I have a question or a possible issue Mark Deloach is quick to respond. Multiple times I have answered my doorbell to be asked what I do for my lawn and I am proud to give all the credit to Lawn Doctor. his technicians are always professional and punctual. If it was possible to put a sign in my front yard that says " Lawn Care by Lawn Doctor" I would love to have it in my yard. ~ Chip D

I've had the Lawn Doctor service for several years now. My lawn always looks great. It's thick, healthy, and green. I let the experts take care of my lawn all year long. Jeff is always professional and does a great job. He is on time and takes great care to make sure the lawn is completely covered. Service people are very professional and when they come will engage you in conversation about your property. They leave notes regarding what substances they treated your property with, safety timetable for pets, watering instructions, etc. If you have any questions you can call the office and they get back to you very quickly with a workable response. Also, if you prepay for the year they give you a nice discount. I think my lawn looks better using their services. ~ Patrice L

We’ve always struggled to keep our front yard looking healthy and green. Having re-sodded it three times, we were done so we hired The Lawn Doctor. They have been great! Our sod took right away and we have them doing all maintenance to keep it looking good. It’s lush and green without no breakouts of brown spots, fungus, or any critters. They are a well organized and efficiently run company with customer satisfaction a number one priority. Always on time for appointments unless the weather prohibits the work from being done. But I do receive a courtesy call prior to the appointment time and receive a reschedule date. Everyone I’ve come in contact with is knowledgeable, friendly, professional and courteous. I have been using Lawn Doctor for over ten years and have been very satisfied with their service. They are responsive to any questions that I have. Last year I was having some issues and when brought to their attention they came out to inspect and it was determined to be my fault in not watering long enough. Once I corrected my irrigation times the problem was rectified. Give them a try and see for yourself ~ John W

Professional, on time, and thorough. The technician actually applies the fertilizer/weed control to every square inch of my lawn, and not just a little in one place before jumping in his truck to leave like the large national service I had before. Although we’re already paying for Summit services on the north side of Sun City, it’s good to know these pros at Lawn Doctor can provide expertise advice and quick solutions to specific problems. The company reputation is strong and we’ll call them again in the future. I’m one of the few not dissatisfied with Summit, but sometimes you need more than the standard commercial contract services. The company I had treating my lawn before the Lawn Doctor failed to control the weeds, grub worms,, and mole crickets. They were unreliable and missed treating my lawn for several months. My lawn looked horrible. That's when I called Lawn Doctor. They responded immediately and took care of my problems. My lawn is now the best looking in my neighborhood. My yard has improved 100% since switching from TruGreen to the Lawn Doctor. The communication and customer service is outstanding. Everybody at Lawn doctor is very professional and very nice. The owner Mark returns calls and is available whenever you need him. He recommended a new service called Hydro train and the product is amazing. It keeps my lawn green with a lot less watering. I have had 3 other lawn services before and was not pleased with the quality of work. I put in a-lot of effort in my lawn and lawn doctor seems to have the right ingredients to apply to my grass that makes me proud owner of this yard. I am a satisfied customer of Lawn Doctor of Savannah/Beaufort. After 2+ years of DIY to my centipede yard I finally relented by handing over responsibility for aeration, weed control, insecticide and fertilizer to Lawn Doctor. I have had people to come and tell me how great my lawn looks. They can find no weeds or anything that would deter from the beautiful lawn. I am very satisfied with their service. They call and let me know when they are coming. Arriving, they do their job and never an interruption. These folks really know their business. Zach Deloach inspected our yard when it was in dire need of help and didn’t try to upsell anything. He told me what we needed and what we didn’t. Technicians Parker Solomon, Carson Taylor, and Donal Bushong were all very pleasant and engaging and provide tips to keep the lawn looking good. I couldn’t be more satisfied. ~ Russ R

Well deserved 5 Star Review!!! Hired them to level and sand my Bermuda North Bridge grass… Excellent job , yet I still had a couple spots not leveled.. No questions asked they returned and added more sand to the area for no charge!! This is how you take care of your customers!! Keep up the great work!! ~ James C
